Pardon me for not posting this sooner, but ‘Thanks Secret Pal!’
Here is the BEAUTIFUL package that came last week:

* YUMMY See’s candies – I know “SEE’s”:http://www.sees.com/ being a California native!
* Way cute heart shaped tape measure (how does she know i fight to not lose mine all of the time? I’m -considering- attaching it to my key chain!)
* A really beautiful card – with such sweet sentiments.
* And last but certainly not least GORGEOUS YARN!!! My Secret Pal tells me that it is Handpainted SW Merino Sock Yarn – Hearts & Flowers color. It’s Treadsoft, 100% Superwash Merino yarn, – a 4 oz. skein (approx. 450 yards). The colors are bright red, hot pink, & cherry red. As my secret pal says, it will be great for my “Sock of the Month”:http://knittinmom.blogspot.com/2006/01/sock-month-knitalong.html challenge! Pink is my secret pal’s favorite color and she chose a very cool way to share this with me :-)

Thanks again Super Secret Pal!

And now for quick knitting updates – the “2006 Knitting Olympics”:http://www.yarnharlot.ca/blog/olympics2006.html is in full-swing, and here is my progress so far:

I’ve finished the back of the D Weasley Sweater and have actually started the front, and am just embarking upon the big letter “D”!!
I’ll post more progress soon – but as you may have picked up from other Olympic Knitters, time is precious for knitting these days, so blogging and other activities are at a bit of a lull for most of us.
