“This article”:http://www.oregonlive.com/search/index.ssf?/base/living/1139367355265090.xml?oregonian?lvls&coll=7 is another piece of proof that this thing has gone wild!
At last count over 3600 entrants in the “2006 Knitting Olympics!!”:http://www.yarnharlot.ca/blog/olympics2006.html Wow!

“Mom,”:http://livinglakeside.com “Kim”:http://dkunruh.com/peanuts and I have plans to get together tomorrow night in front of the opening ceremonies and cast-on together. Unfortunately there is a snow storm headed this way – one of those storms that they can’t predict where and how much very well until it’s practically upon us. This doesn’t surprise me much, since for the past 2 snowfalls we’ve had, the local news predicted ‘no accumulation’ and we ended up with 1-3 inches in various areas of the tri-state.

I’ll be doing my olympic ‘training’ swatch tonight. I’m going to try and do daily progress updates here, most with pics.

Are you involved? Please share the details. This is going to be fun!
