NaBloPoMo 2011 my first year

Like many others I’ve decided to use NaBloBoMo to get me back into blogging more regularly. I keep feeling the call back to it, dang life just keeps getting in the way. So I will use this opportunity to be held accountable to my plan and to meet more people along the way.

Today was a very rough day for me. But I think I have finally put 2 and 2 together and figured out what might be the cause of most of my malaise. So I made a visit to a wonderful health food store here in my new town. Unfortunately I learned something very bad while I was there getting something good for me. It turns out there is a bill that is up before congress that may shut down all of the wonderful health food stores across our nation. I picked up some literature, so I’ll do some research and post more about that here in the next few days.

I very seriously consider it my civil duty to be informed and to be active on issues that affect me,my family, my community and my country. I hope you do, too.

If you haven’t heard it already well you have now: there’s a saying that if you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything.

Stand up people!!!

You may not agree with all or even part of a group of people, whatever party, whatever group, whatever protest – but you must support the right of every American to stand for what they believe, peacefully, and not infringing on any other fellow American’s rights to be as free. It’s all about liberty, true freedom – the right to be wrong, even!

Now, jumping from my announcement, to vague blogging about my personal life (more later, people, please be patient), and then from politics (oh no, not that, yes, that!) now on to more neutral things…

I’m not sure I’ll really use the daily prompts at “BlogHer”:http://www.blogher.com/nablopomo (great, resource there people), every day this month, as I attempt to make daily posts here on the old blog (well, in internet years, like dog years, 9 years IS old, dontchathink?!?!) but I may, from time to time, or I just might only do it today, but I’ll follow etiquette and do that in another post …
