Well, things are “going”. The major career change _he_ is going through just keeps turning into more and more of a nightmare. Though I do not find myself in shock of this, unfortunately, as I have been pessimistic and upset all along. I can’t stand feeling like we’re backed into this nasty, dark corner. Forced into it, really. We have to have choices, and can this really be the only one we have?
On other fronts – thanks to dear, sweet “Jill”:http://jillspot.com I have been kind of _hooked_ on a new ebay thang, shopping for VERY inexpensive, yet very meaningful, and dare I say _trendy_ pieces of a puzzle. My first one is going to be my mom’s birthday present on my birthday. See, I have this tiny, sort-of-a-tradition, that I give my mom a gift on _my_ birthday, as a thanks to her for having me on this day, years ago. You should try it- feels great for both of you. So, anyhoo, that means I can’t spill the beans on my new escapades, yet, but soon, very soon…………
Oh, and did I mention that _he_ redid our main bathroom floor a couple of weeks ago? It’s not the greatest, since we did it VERY frugally, just to get something done, but the job _he_ did was *awesome* and such a great improvement! I’ll try to post some during and afters, since I sorrowfully neglected to shoot some befores, but alas, you really didn’t want to see them anyhoo, and we sure want to forget!
