Olympic stretch

I’m not giving up – yet!

Here are the front and back grafted together at the shoulder, along with the heel flap on the sock (done in some sweater-down-time where I left my needles at mom’s the night before) and an OLD copy of some of Edgar Allen Poe’s works that _He_ found under the floor boards of the bathroom upstairs that _He_ is remodeling:

And here’s the first sleeve started, just an inch and a half or so done, as of about noon today:

And then here’s how far I’d gotten (between life, kids, etc.) by about 3 pm when I had to go and run a Girl Scout Cookie shop with Boo Hopper’s Brownie troop, about 3 and 1/2 inches:

Now I’m trying to estimate how much time I need to block it, so she can wear it while we watch the Olympics closing ceremonies on Sunday. Ack! Off to knit – if I update anymore it might just be on “my Flickr page here.”:http://flickr.com/photos/starzabove/
I need all the time I can get to knit! I have the ‘pod loaded up with podcasts, music and books and we are still catching up with figure skating parts of the olympics from the past few days on the DVR. Off to knit, knit like the wind! ;-)
