Yay! I finished the shrug for niece #1 (10 years old). It was done with Cascade 220 quattro wool, on size 8 “Denise’s”:http://knitdenise.com and was based on the “Mini-sweater pattern.”:http://glampyreknits.tripod.com/glampyrephotos/id62.html
I will hopefully gift it to her (as a late Christmas gift) this Friday when we meet up with them at the skating rink here in town. The eldest daughter is working on the same pattern for niece #2 (8 years old), in the same yarn, in a purple colorway. Now to see if she needs help with that, or maybe I’ll just work on my Koigu socks or Mom’s Karaoke Clapotis. Or maybe cast on for the shrug for my Dear Friend in Canada? Hmmm……..
