Well, yesterday it was lawnmowers, I’m sure they were people trying to get mowing done before the big storms last night. We had our first real bout of T-storms roll through – the most annoying part were the sirens going off for what seemed like such a long time. And it wasn’t even for a Tornado warning, just Thunderstorm, which don’t get me wrong, can be pretty awful themselves.
Today, it’s kids playing, birds chirping, cars in the distance and some strange sound I can’t quite figure out. It sort of sounds like ‘hoooo hooo hooo hooo’. It could be a lot of things, I guess, but I can’t figure it out.
Pickles the dog is here with me. He wants bad to sit here on the swing beside me, but he’s dirty from all of the mud on the ground. Poor guy. He still thinks he’s human, I’m sure of it.
The funny thing about that ‘hooo hooo’ sound is that it is either traveling all over the neighborhood or is coming from several different directions. The more I listen the more I think it is another bird. It sort of sounds like a dove’s call. Or is it _Dove’s Cry_ ?
So far as smells, just normal, fresh spring air, after rains last night. Nothing too overwhelming. Except for two brief waves of smell. One, was someone’s dinner cooking, the other resembled those flowers that smell somewhat like onions. Ugh.
Happy Spring. Please stay away allergies.
