Well, it looks like I will be purchasing two of “these”:http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3429539 for the little girls. At 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 they’ve both been using regular seatbelts, but now have to revert to child restraints a.k.a. ‘booster seats’. Indiana state law, effective July 1st of this year puts into effect that instead of the previous 4yo limit, they’ve raised it to 8yo. Big leap if you ask me, but all for good reason, I am sure. The girls weren’t thrilled at first, but when I explained why, and how the shoulder harnesses will be more comfy and they will be up higher where they can see better they thought it might be okay. And then when they saw the cutesy boosters with the hidden pop-out cup holders they were convinced. I just took them shopping online and they were okay- they are girls after all!
