Despite statistics, I’m still here.
Tons going on, of course.
I am SO looking forward to cable high speed internet at the house we are buying. I’ve had such a struggle with wirelessly networking our Direcway high speed internet connection since I went ahead and moved the setup next door to mom’s house. Mostly has to do with her house being lower than we are here, but I messed up my network settings in the process, as well, along the way. So, for now, I’m broadcasting from my closet (a large walk-in with a window, at least). I moved a little desk in here and voila! temporary lil’ office.
The house stuff is going okay, so far. We hope to close by December 17th.
Yes, moving the week before Christmas, sigh…..
Thanksgiving was nice. There were 23 of us. First time at mom’s house out here.
I managed to drag the hubby out at 6 am Friday for the day after Thanksgiving Day shopping, and finished 90% of my Christmas shopping, yay!
Especially since I really needed to get that ‘taken care of’ so I could concentrate on everything else that is going on right now.
Awww……..but life is good! My 5yo and 3yo lil’ girls just brought me a bowl of cereal, sitting on a tray, that they ‘made’ for me for breakfast! Even before they had their cereal!
