I’ve never been allergic to anything, all of my life.
Until I relocated from Northwestern California to here, where the south meets the midwest.
The first year, it was allergy season, and that year was one of the worst allergy seasons this area had seen, so it wasn’t a huge surprise.
Then the next year, it was allergy season and pretty much off and on year-round, but we lived in an older home, so I kind of attributed it to that.
So the doc put me on Claritin last year, after 2 runs of prednizone to kick it off. Then we switched to Allegra later in the year (insurance reasons). They help, during the rest of the year, most of the time.
Allergy season is in full swing here in the midwest. I’m a mess.
I have another doc appt. Thursday.
I just couldn’t handle a new drug that’ll make me drowsy.
I have too much to concentrate on to be drowsy.
I can’t afford to be the mess this stuff is making me, though.
And now…..the weather forecast calls for High pollen counts today.
Oh Joy.
