Well, as part of the Memorial Day weekend celebration, we went fishing for the afternoon. We were almost rained out, but left just in time. Everyone had fun.
Here are a couple of fun shots from the day.
First is the boy, face-to-face with the first of 3 bass that he caught. This one measured in at 14 inches. Second is Poppy the Puppy,(the name is almost official and has to do with home-state flowers and favorite snack of all time ;~) meeting up with one of the horses that roams the land around the pond. They were sort of “facing off”. They”d kind of get close and stand there and check one another out, then one would move and they”d BOTH high-tail it back a few steps, LOL.

* sigh * Looks so beautiful where you are. One of these day I am just gonna hop in my car and take a 9 hour ride to Kentucky. You better be ready for me:)
