I still can’t believe she’s gone. I can still see her and hear her and smell her.
She fought the good fight, but didn’t have to suffer long, thank Goodness. She was diagnosed with Lung Cancer that had metastasized to her brain, just a few short months before she flew away. Cancer is an ugly thing. Grammie was beautiful. What she had to deal with, I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I still cherish every moment I had with here, up until the end.
