10 points for the first person who can name who sings that song, and in what movie!
Well, for a *quick* update – I’m headed to St. Louis in the morning, to pick up the li’l bro at the airport. He’s flying in from So. Calif for a visit. It’ll be great to see him. My kids are all so excited!
I had yet another headache today, this afternoon actually. It was awful. I’m feeling better this evening, so let’s pray it stays away for the drive tomorrow!
I’ve hardly lifted a needle, so far as knitting, but I’m just about finished with my “_mess_” and will post a photo of it soon. The socks are at pretty much the same place as before, heading up the leg. Angel really wants these socks done yesterday. I just wish someone else was driving me and I could knit on the drive tomorrow. But, alas, I have the ‘pod packed full of podcasts and books to listen to on the way instead. In fact, I’m seriously considering joining the “Knit the Classics”: since there are audio versions of the books- this month and next, at least. I was the ‘bookworm’ growing up, and as a young adult. I love to read. It’s just that I can’t stand only doing one thing at a time anymore. Anyone else suffer from that out there?
Well, I’d better get some sleep for the long day tomorrow. Mom and Don also fly back in from their quick jaunt to No. Calif. to see brother Danny, who had a couple of surgeries and was diagnosed with Diabetes last week. He was supposed to be out here visiting this week. I’m just glad he’s doing better now, though I know his life will be forever changed having to deal with his health.
So remember:
bq. _Meet me in St. Louis, Louis,
Meet me at the fair,
Don’t tell me the lights are shining
any place but there;
We will dance the Hoochee Koochee,
I will be your tootsie wootsie,
If you will meet in St. Louis, Louis,
Meet me at the fair_
Judy Garland in Meet Me at the Fair?
5 points for Chris, or is it 7? Judy Garland is the singer/star, and the title of the movie is ‘Meet Me in St. Louis’. Maybe I should look up the answers before I ask silly questions, eh? Anyhow, this warrants a cup of tea for you next time we knit together Chris. Thanks for playing along.
