Wow. I love this kind of stuff.
The kids and I (except the little one) went and sat down by the lake and watched the moon disappear tonight. We couldn’t see it for the trees from out deck at first.
Then once it was gone, because of a light cloud cover, but also was gone from the eclipse, we went back in the house. About half an hour later it was visible from the deck, cloud cover was more sparse, and the eclipse started reversing.
Right now, I’m going out there every 15 minutes or so and shooting another photo.
They aren’t they greatest shots, due to the hazy cloudiness fading in and out, but interesting and will at least show the dissappearance and reappearance of the earth shadowing the moon.
