1. What was/is your favorite subject in school? Why?
Math. Because there is always a correct, exact answer.
2. Who was your favorite teacher? Why?
Mr. Woods, in High School. He was tough, but very straight-forward, very interesting, and pushed us to reach farther.
But then in grade school, the 4th grade, was Mr. Baird, who was VERY much like Mr. Woods. (even a complete-lack-of-hair thing going on, LOL)
3. What is your favorite memory of school?
Hmmmm…..one of them is probably earning the priviledge of going to the back table once a week and being taught a little Algebra in the 4th grade.
Another would be wearing the crown, getting to be line-leader,
and being sung to on my birthday in Kindergarten (even us summer-born children had our “day”.)
And lastly, attending the Junior class meeting once when I was a new freshman and no one being the wiser! LOL (I had just moved to the area, so no one knew me and a guy talked me into going :~) I was gullible, but so were they, right?)
4. What was your favorite recess game?
4-square, gosh do they even play that anymore? hehe
5. What did you hate most about school?
How kids treated eachother :~( they can be so cruel, and at the time, it means so much and hurts so intensely.
This is fun! If you have your own blog, be sure and answer these “Friday Five” questions each Friday in your blog, I’d love to read them.
You can leave a comment to this entry letting me know you participated.
And even if you don’t have a blog, I encourage you to answer them in the Comments section of this entry here.
The idea comes from FridayFive.org
p.s. If you don’t have your own blog and would like one, zap me a note and we’ll see what we can do.
p.s.s. I realize this is late, due to a lil popup/zonealarm bug I had to figure out, but alas, all is well, and what does it matter if it isn’t Friday anymore, LOL. enjoy.
