Kind of surreal looking, but this is Rebecca & Sarah with the big fireworks show going off in the background. Tired, after a day full of fun. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!!!!
Em loved the lake
Emma said “I wanna fish”. So Daddy helped her. (Didn”t last long, of course) That was during a break from swimming (which also didn”t last long, the break that is). She had a blast – her and the rest of the girls swam for a couple of hours straight, even in the 90-something weather with…
Diver & bathing beauty
Miss Becca would swim underwater for quite some time! This is a shot just after she had come up out of the water and was getting ready to dive down again. Miss Laney was walking out of the lake, and reminding me of a bathing beauty prancing out onto the beach, LOL.
Sarah-fish and the Boy – fisherman
Sarah the fish, just loved swimming in the lake, even when she was splashed. And Christopher the Fisherman paddled around the lake fishing most of the afternoon, and did catch a couple- 1 bass and 1 bluegill.
We spent the 4th at a friend’s Lake
This approx. 11 acre lake is behind David”s house, outside of Evansville, Indiana. David works with Rob at KDL (Kentucky Data Link).
Fireworks over the Ohio River
Here are some of the fireworks from the show over the Ohio River in Evansville, Indiana, that we watched them from the parking lot of Rob”s office.
My baby is 14 years old!!
Well, my first baby that is – sniff, sniff. High School, ah boy………….. We measured him the other day, and he grew another inch in the past four months, so he”s just about 5″9″ and has put all 9 of these last inches on since we moved here, less than 2 years ago. He”s surpassed…
Today is sponsored by the letter “C”
CHRISTOPHER, CUCUMBERS, & CICADAS Well, the boy is our main gardner. He harvested these GREAT cucumbers today, the first from our garden. Sarah made me a wonderful cucumber sandwhich for lunch :~) This bug is a “Cicada”, and trust me, this particular one is a DEAD Cicada, for me to put my hand next to…
My lil Amazon Outfitters – vbs ’02
A full week, but very blessed! Sarah sighs as she mentions this will be her last year at VBS, she”ll join the Youth Group this summer (becoming a 6th grader). Rebecca had a blast, as usual. Delaney”s first year of a really participating class at vbs, and was very sad to hear it was over…
That’s my mommy!
This was Emma”s reaction when I went to pick her up from her Bible School classroom one day – “That”s my mommy!” (p.s. you can guess who the VBS official photographer was, LOL. I did some 240+ individual prints and a 6 minute slideshow that I narrowed down to 75 images ) Any idea what…
